Better Call Paul is a grass roots handy man and renovations company that specializes primarily in residential properties. BCP’s foundation sits in assisting inexperienced homeowners who are looking for a down to earth step by step approach to their renovations or improvements. From our experience we’ve come to learn that the two most terrifying aspects of beginning a renovation are cost and steps. Its usually the steps being unknown or misunderstood which result in the shock of the price. BCP is not a shortcutting company banking on homeowners being uneducated. Well, actually kind of, just minus the shortcutting. We are very interested in being able to provide that missing information and missing understanding to a homeowner to help equip them for future renovations. Of course we would prefer that you use us again however it’s your house and your future within it and it is our passion to insure that you are better off and better educated to help you with making your next renovation a smooth and easy experience!

Kitchen Remodel
Client wanted to remodel kitchen into an open kitchen / dining space. The adjoining walls between kitchen and dining room were taken down, flooring ripped up, previous cabinetry taken out, and a few small other things.
Brand new flooring, new cabinetry, new stainless steel appliances.
A true full remodel.

Bathroom sink was severely damaged and the client had wanted to renovate the area. New vanity, counter top, sink, lights, and mirror.
Better Call Paul’s Origin
For a long while I had worked for or under someone else. When you’re a passionate tradesman this can sometimes be unfulfilling. When you are working for someone else, you are working for someone else. If he tells you to cut a corner to save a dollar, guess what, you’re going to cut a corner to get paid. It’s very morally implicating and upsetting. Another issue that comes up with working on projects for other people is that you’re not the one who discussed what the client wants and you’re not really one who can issue a change order if the client decides that they want to go with that first backsplash that they were uncertain of before. Being able to work for myself allows me to have that connection with the client from the jump. If you want to change something, or you decide you want to do another small project I’m right there to help you along the way.
Another reason that I started Better Call Paul is because I REALLY didn’t like working for other people. I wanted to create a company that employed people who enjoyed their work, take pride in their projects. I want to continue building a company that is filled with people who are paid well, taken care of, and their good treatment is reflected in their work.
When I broke free and started my company I started with a chop saw in the back of my 2019 Toyota Corolla. My first job was to demo and rebuild and entire back deck. Not too bad huh?
